【摘要】:Thisstandardgivescalculationmethodsfor:a)Theinternalsurfacetemperatureofabuildingcomponentorbuildingelementbelowwhichmouldgrowthislikely,giventheinternaltemperatureandrelativehumidity-themethodcanalsobeusedtoassesstheriskofothersurfacecondensationproblems.b)Theassessmentoftheriskofinterstitialcondensationduetowatervapourdiffusion.Themethodusedassumesbuilt-inwaterhasdriedoutanddoesnottakeaccountofanumberofimportantphysicalphenomenaincluding:-thedependenceofthermalconductivityonmoisturecontent;-thereleaseandabsorptionoflatentheat;-thevariationofmaterialpropertieswithmoisturecontent;-capillarysuctionandliquidmoisturetransferwithinmaterials;-airmovementthroughcracksorwithinairspaces;-thehygroscopicmoisturecapacityofmaterials.Consequentlythemethodisapplicableonlytostructureswheretheseeffectsarenegligible.
