【摘要】:ThispartofISO9241providesguidanceonthedesignofdirectmanipulationdialogues.Indirectmanipulationdialoguestheuserdirectlyactsonobjectsonthescreen;forexample,bypointingatthem,movingthemand/orchangingtheirphysicalcharacteristics(orvalues)viatheuseofaninputdevice.Suchobjectsaretypicallyconcrete,oftengraphical,representationsofabstractsoftwarestructuresorcapabilitiesandgenerallyfallintotwocategories.a)Taskobject—ametaphoricalrepresentationofareal-worldartefactmanipulatedtosupporttheuser'stask(e.g.asheetofpaper,pen,spanner,graph).b)Interfaceobject—anobjectintroducedintotheinterfacesothattheusercanperformtasksrelatedtotheuseofthecomputerapplicationorsystem.Thisintroducedobjectmaybeareal-worldobjectbutthemetaphorisnotdirectlyrelatedtotheuser'srealworktask(e.g.button,slider,window,screen).Objectsandtheirrepresentationsonthedisplayarereferredtoasobjects,exceptwhereitisnecessarytomakeacleardistinction.Interfacesthatusestereoscopicorvirtualreality-typeinterfacesarenotcoveredinthispartofISO9241.Inpractice,thetermdirectmanipulationisoftenusedinterchangeablywithgraphicaluserinterfaces(GUIs).However,withinGUIsotherdialoguetechniques,suchasmenudialoguesorcommanddialogues,areoftenimplementedaswell.ThoughGUIscanprovidemanydirectmanipulationfeatures,noteveryuserinputinGUIscanbeinterpretedasdirectmanipulation.Forexample,printingadocumentbymovingadocumenticonuponaprintericonimpliesahigherdegreeofdirectmanipulationthanamouseclickonapushbuttonlabelled"print".ThispartofISO9241coversusabilityissuesofdirectmanipulationdialogues.RecommendationsonGUIcomponentsaregivenonlyiftheyarerelatedspecificallytofeaturesofdirectmanipulation.Featuresofdirectmanipulationdialoguessuchasstep-by-stepinputmaybeinefficient(e.g.,ifonewishestodeleteallfilesstartingwith"d").Therefore,otherinteractiontechniques;forexample,commandinputormenus,maybemoreappropriateandaretypicallyusedtosupplementdirectmanipulation.
