【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesmechanicaltestmethodsfordeterminingthestability,strengthanddurabilityofofficeworkchairs.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotspecifytypeapprovaltestsforchaircomponents.Thetestsaredesignedtobeappliedtoanarticleoffurniturethatisfullyassembledandreadyforuse.Thetestsconsistoftheapplication,tovariouspartsoftheitem,offorcessimulatingnormalfunctionaluse,aswellasmisusethatmightreasonablybeexpectedtooccur.Thetestsaredesignedtoevaluatepropertieswithoutregardtomaterials,design/constructionormanufacturingprocesses.Thetestresultsareonlyvalidforthearticletested.Whenthetestresultsareintendedtobeappliedtoothersimilararticles,itisimportantthatthetestspecimenberepresentativeoftheproductionmodel.Testscarriedoutaccordingtothisstandardareintendedtodemonstratetheabilityoftheitemtogivesatisfactoryserviceinitsintendedenvironment.ThesafetyrequirementsarespecifiedinEN1335-2andadditionalloads,massesandcyclesforfunctionaltestscanbefoundinAnnexC(informative).Thetestshavebeendevelopedforunits/componentsthathavenotbeeninuse.However,whenproperlyjustified,theymaybeusedforfaultinvestigation.Assessmentofageinganddegradationisnotincluded.Thetestsarenotintendedtoassessthedurabilityofupholstery,i.e.fillingmaterialsandcovers.Dataaregivenforthedesignofseat-loadingpadsinAnnexA(normative)andforthedesignofstabilityloadingpadinAnnexB(normative).
