MIL-STD-265A (NOTICE 1), MILITARY STANDARD: TEST AND INSPECTION OF TRUCK, FIXED PLATFORM, POWERED, GASOLINE, PNEUMATIC RUBBER TIRED (09 NOV 1990) [S/S BY MIL-T-3977]., Military Standard MIL-STD-265A, dated 14 September1960, is hereby canceled without substitution. Test and inspection requirements for Gasoline, FixedPlatform Trucks have been incorporated into Military Specification MIL-T-3977D.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedforuseasaguideincaseswhereexperimentaldeterminationofheatofcombustionisnotavailableandcannotbemadeconvenientlyandwhereanestimateisconsideredsatisfactory.Itisnotintendedasasubstituteforexperimentalmeasurementsofheatofcombustion.Table1showsasummaryfortherangeofeachvariableusedindevelopingthecorrelation.Themeanvalueandanestimateofitsdistributionaboutthemean,namelythestandarddeviation,isshown.Thisindicates,forexample,thatthemeandensityforallfuelsusedindevelopingthecorrelationwas779.3kg/m3andthattwothirdsofthesampleshadadensitybetween721.4and837.1kg/m3,thatis,plusorminusonestandarddeviation.Thecorrelationismostaccuratewhenthevaluesofthevariablesusedarewithinonestandarddeviationofthemean,butisusefuluptotwostandarddeviationsofthemean.Theuseofthiscorrelationmaybeapplicabletootherhydrocarbondistillatesandpurehydrocarbons;however,onlylimiteddataonnon-aviationfuelsovertheentirerangeofthevariableswereincludedinthecorrelation.Note48212;TheproceduresfortheexperimentaldeterminationofthegrossandnetheatsofcombustionaredescribedinTestMethodsD240andD4809.ThecalorimetricmethodscitedinNote4measuregrossheatofcombustion.However,netheatisusedinaircraftcalculationsbecauseallcombustionproductsareinthegaseousstate.Thiscalculationmethodisbasedonnetheat,butacorrectionisrequiredforcondensedsulfurcompounds.TABLE1MeanandStandardDeviationoftheVariablesVariableMeanStandardDeviationAromatics,volume%
